Cave-In-Rock, Hardin County, Illinois

An inter-grown group of white crystals, with the crystals forming a divergent group (there are crystals pointing in the two opposite directions, and meet at the base). The "back" is incomplete, showing a contact zone lined with white chalky masses. There is also a small amount of pale purple fluorite associated.  The specimen is strongly fluorescent blue-white under short wave ultraviolet, and weaker under long wave.
